Wild GM says he’ll not listen to any “noise” about Wild GM Chuck Fletcher

By P.J. Housley-USA TODAY SportsThe Minnesota Wild have decided not to pursue a move to trade former GM Chuck Gardiner, according to a report from the Pioneer Press.

The Wild reportedly told the paper they “do not intend to trade Gardiner” and “will not be pursuing any trade or potential trade in regards to him.”

The paper also reported that Gardiner has not contacted the Wild, but said the team was aware of the report and “is looking into the matter.”

Gardiner has been the Wild’s GM since the 2011-12 season and was fired in February of 2016.
